Oakland at Kansas City: The Chiefs at home (Arrowhead) against the hapless Raiders? I'm going with KC.

Indianapolis at Dallas: New starter Tony Romo has had two up weeks with a down week in between. It may be like that the rest of his first year starting and he's due for a down week. That can't happen against the Colts if the Cowboys want to win.

Cincinnati at New Orleans: Like defense? Then don't watch this game. Like to see points flying onto the scoreboard like they did last week between Cincy and San Diego as well as New Orleans and Pittsburgh? Then watch and enjoy. With the game at home, I give the edge to the Saints, but who knows anymore.

Pittsburgh at Cleveland: Both teams are coming off big victories last week. Pitt played to win against New Orleans while Cleveland played not to lose against Atlanta. If they stick to those philosophies, Pitt will definitely have the edge.

Tennessee at Philadelphia: The Eagles look great some weeks and awful others. They can appear to be just average this week and come out with the victory.

Atlanta at Baltimore: Warrick Dunn and the ground game for the top rushing team in the league hasn't been as efficient in recent weeks and that's not a good winning ingredient when going on the road against the best rush defense.

St. Louis at Carolina: The Rams are fading fast and I refuse to keep any faith in them, especially on the road against a pretty good Panther team.

Buffalo at Houston: With Willis McGahee out indefinitely and the game in Houston, I'm going to give the slight edge to the Texans.

New England at Green Bay: Why are people panicking over the Pats losing two straight? They hadn't done that for how many consecutive years? That's an amazing feat in and of itself. They're 6-3 and atop their division. Give them a break. By the way, they'll win this one.

Washington at Tampa Bay: Whew. Who to pick in this one... Well, with the game in Tampa and Clinton Portis most likely out for the rest of the year, along with Jason Campbell getting his first start, I have to give the Bucs the edge in this one.

Chicago at NY Jets: It won't be easy, but the Bears defense should do enough to limit the Jets offensively and the offense should do enough to put enough points on the scoreboard to come out with the victory.

Minnesota at Miami: Nick Saban should just hypnotize his club into thinking that every game is part of the second half of the season. This is when the Dolphins got hot last year and they're hot right now. Minnesota is anything but hot.

Detroit at Arizona: Following a letdown week in falling to San Francisco of all teams, the Lions should bounce back against the lowly Cardinals. If not, that'd be pathetic, losing back-to-back games to the 49ers and Cardinals. Ouch!

Seattle at San Francisco: Alexander may play, but I don't think it'll matter either way. Seattle should roll into San Francisco and come out with the W.

San Diego at Denver: This is a tough one to call, but with it being a night game in Denver, I'm giving the edge to the Broncos.

NY Giants at Jacksonville: The Jaguars had another down week last week, getting swept by the Houston Texans of all teams. The first time they fell to Houston, they stormed back a week later. I look for them to do that again in front of a national audience against the Giants.
