Week 18 NFL Predictions
Saturday
Kansas City at Indianapolis: One has to love the matchup of LJ (Larry Johnson) against the Colts' woeful defense, but Indy has yet to lose a home game this year and I can't see Peyton and his club losing their first in the playoffs.
Indianapolis 35 Kansas City 28
Dallas at Seattle: Neither team's defense has played well down the stretch. Dallas has allowed a chunk of points and yards in the final month of the season and Seattle's D is battered and bruised. Even though I'm tired of hearing about Tony Romo, I think he and the Cowboys have enough on offense to get them by in this one.
Dallas 31 Seattle 24
Sunday
NY Jets at New England: Mangini vs. Belichick. Mangini and his Jets split the season series with the Pats, one game in which his Jets completely dominated. But, with Belichick's history in the post-season, the game at home, and he having faced Mangini twice now, I give the definite edge to his Patriots.
New England 21 NY Jets 14
NY Giants at Philadelphia: Both teams are heading in completely different directions. The G-Men are lucky to be in the post-season at all. They'd have no chance if they were in the AFC. The Eagles have gotten right back up following Donovan McNabb's season-ending injury. With all that factored in along with the game being played in Philly and the soap opera locker room known as the Giants, I'm going with the Eagles.
Philadelphia 27 NY Giants 24
