Sheen Speaks Out

Earlier in the week, actor Charlie Sheen was on the Alex Jones Radio Show. On this particular show, he let his thoughts be known about how he doesn't believe the "official" 9/11 story.

Some people believe that celebrities should keep their mouths shut when it comes to issues like this and they should stick to talking about their work, whether it be music, film, television, etc. Others believe that they should make the most of the opportunity. Since they, unlike most of us, have the opportunity to speak out and get people's attention, they should do so.

While sometimes I think celebrities may not say the brightest of things, I think it'd be very weak on their part not to make the most of the opportunities they have. If one is given the chance to speak out and let their voice be known, then make the most of that.

Sheen has gotten so much attention this week because of the interview, for the simple fact that he questions the 9/11 story. Some people have problems with questioning certain things, and why? Because it's very sensitive and penetrable territory. When one questions religion or one religion in particular, some people are up in arms about it. Why? Well, deep down, they probably are asking those same questions or did at one point in their life, and they don't want to be reminded of it again. If they go ballistic and make it appear they don't question at all, then that certifies them as 100% loyal to their religion, so they believe. If one questions a particular president, party, or war, the same thing transpires. When one questions a tragic event such as 9/11, many will insult the inquisitor. Why? Deep down, they have probably, at one time or another, asked those very same questions (either spoken or not) and don't want to hear about it. They want to believe their own little story and for it not to be altered any with the truth. As Jack Nicholson told Tom Cruise in the film "A Few Good Men," "The truth? You can't handle the truth!" Oddly enough, I think that's true in many cases, especially when it comes to politics and religion.

Celebrities have not been too outspoken on questioning the 9/11 story. It took some courage on Sheen's part to let his thoughts and questions be known and be the first Hollywood start to fully question the 9/11 story. I've been suspicious about it since the day it happened and am not afraid to question. If the American people and the world was deceived, I think we deserve to know and those who deceived us should be punished thoroughly. Even after the highly political 9/11 Commission Report was concluded, there were holes that needed to be filled and questions that needed to be answered. I say it was very political for the simple fact that it was. Yeah, the commission was split in terms of Republicans and Democrats, but there being either Republicans or Democrats on the commission at all made it political. The report was similar to a story told by a youngster to their parents, explaining why something happened. They won't tell the whole story, but just enough to satisfy the parent(s). Once the parent seems at ease with the explanation, then the youngster goes back to doing whatever they were doing before. Because of this, Sheen called for an independent international investigation and just yesterday did Venezuela stand up to that request, for an independent international investigation of 9/11.

I thank Sheen for his courage to stand up and openly question the story, being fully cognizant of the attacks he'd face directly following. A couple others have spoken out since Sheen did and I hope that trend continues, so that a full independent international investigation can take place and we can find out the facts and actual story of what took place that tragic day. The government likes to play the role of the youngster and feed us garbage until we seem satisfied and we were, for a while. But public opinion has shifted mightily since 9/11 and for the most part, we have a lot more questions than answers when it comes to what all transpired prior to and on that horrific and tragic day of 9/11.
