"RV" Review

Robin Williams plays a family man who's about to take his wife and two kids off to Hawaii for vacation when his boss alters the schedule immensely. Williams is told to write a report and give a presentation in Boulder, Colorado and because of that, will have to cancel plans for Hawaii.

Williams then overhears some colleagues talk about an RV vacation they took and Williams immediately rents an RV, with the idea that he'd be able to talk his family into taking an RV vacation to Boulder, without mentioning why it is they're actually going. So, on they go, for a road trip they'll never forget (for many reasons).

The movie, as expected, is pretty predictable all the way through. It's similar to "National Lampoon's Vacation" in some ways, but is more appropriate for the whole family to see. Robin Williams saves the film from being boring, with his multiple voices and oddball antics. While, I highly doubt I will see this film again and don't recommend it to major film buffs; I do recommend it for families to go and see. To sum this movie up in one word: cute.

Grade: 5.5/10
