President Vetoes Drug Bill

Due to complaints by police and pressure by the U.S., the drug bill in Mexico has been vetoed. It would've allowed for people to legally possess certain amounts of any drug out there.

The bill has been sent back for revisions, so I hope they propose the idea of only allowing people to possess small amounts of marijuana and that it's signed by the president. This way, we can study the effects of legalizing the drug, so that we may be able to come to a concise decision on if we could do something similar, if it would benefit or damage our country more.

That's what's great about not being the first in line. We can observe, study, and learn, so that we don't make the same mistakes that first person did and we can pick up on some positives that they displayed, as well.
