Def Leppard CD Review

"Yeah!" is the title of the new album for the '80's hair band, Def Leppard. It's a cover album that explores old British rock that inspired the Leps as they grew up. I'll enjoy just about anything from these guys, whether it's old or new, original or cover material, hard-rocking or ballad. While I enjoyed listening to this CD the first time through, as can be expected, I'm wanting to hear some new original material from these guys. Three of their past five albums have either been greatest hits or cover albums. The only two exceptions have been "Euphoria" and "X." While the guitar riffs are great, the beats are solid, and lead singer Joe Elliott is right on pitch with his voice, I'm ready for some new material, guys. I'll never get sick of the old stuff, but I'm anxious to hear something new. I think other fans and myself alike, deserve that.
