Bin Laden Videos

So, I guess there have been two new Internet "Bin Laden" videos posted in the past couple days. Sometimes I wonder if "The Sixth Sense" is the Bush administration's favorite movie and if they're in a Haley Joel Osmont fan club. "I see dead people."

As always, the CIA, FBI, CSI, CLIA, whatever you want to call these people, claim that the videos are authentic and definitely "Bin Laden." These were the same people who called a Bin Laden video authentic when the man in the video was 30-40 pounds heavier than Osama, wore rings (prohibited in Islam), and wrote with the opposite hand that Osama would write with. Yeah, that was authentic allright and definitely Osama Bin Laden! If I drew a picture of a smurf with a long beard and claimed he was Osama Bin Laden, sent a video, would the CIA claim that's authentic and spread it on the news nationwide? Probably. But, since I'd get into trouble for doing that sort of thing, I'll just stick to writing blogs about it.

Just imagine that a man who allegedly orchestrated an attack killing 3,000 people sent videos to the authorities in the country in which he attacked. The more videos he sent, the more clues the authorities would have in their possession. If this were to happen to almost anyone, they'd be caught, especially after handing out home videos for a while. Well, I should be more specific. They'd definitely be caught, unless they were roaming about in some caves between Afghanistan and Pakistan, was suffering from kidney failure, with a dialysis machine attached to them, and well, dead. But, in just about any other scenario, they'd be caught.
