Week 19 NFL Picks and Results

Saturday
Indianapolis at Baltimore: Even though I typically pick the great defense over the great offense, I'm going to give the edge to the Colts in this one. They're coming off their best defensive performance of the season. Manning will want to make-up for his three interceptions a week ago. Plus, Baltimore's already sluggish offense is coming off a bye week, so they may be rustier than ever.
Indianapolis 24 Baltimore 17
Indianapolis 15 Baltimore 6 (1-0)

Philadelphia at New Orleans: Philly just keeps finding ways to win. They're kind of reminiscent of Wisconsin's football team this year. That will all come to an end this Saturday evening, though, when they march into New Orleans to face a highly motivated Saints' club. With the win, New Orleans will be just one game away from their first Super Bowl berth in team history.
New Orleans 27 Philadelphia 24
New Orleans 27 Philadelphia 24 (2-0)

Sunday
Seattle at Chicago: The only way I see the Bears losing this one is if Rex Grossman has a similar performance to what he displayed against Green Bay or Arizona. At home, with their stingy defense behind them, I just can't see that happening.
Chicago 24 Seattle 13
Chicago 27 Seattle 24 OT (3-0)

New England at San Diego: As much as I'd like to see Marty Schottenheimer win, I have a tough time picking a team of his that's coming off a bye week against Bill Belichick and his Pats, following one of their best outings of the year. This will be Philip River's debut start in the playoffs, while Tom Brady is a veteran at these games. I don't want to say it, but I'm going with the Pats.
New England 20 San Diego 17
New England 24 San Diego 21 (4-0)

Week 19 Record: 4-0 (1.000)
Overall Record: 153-109 (.584)
