Week 15 NFL Predictions
Thursday
San Francisco at Seattle: Seattle is coming off a loss to Arizona. With a win here, they will clinch the NFC West. At home, I have to believe they'll do just that.
Seattle 31 San Francisco 21
Saturday
Dallas at Atlanta: It's hard to pick this game in not knowing Warrick Dunn or Jerious Norwood's status for the game. But, I have to believe that at least one of them will be set to go. With the game in Atlanta and the Falcons needing the game a bit more than the Cowboys, I like the Falcons to win their third straight.
Atlanta 24 Dallas 21
Sunday
Cleveland at Baltimore: Cleveland can be a pain at times, but I honestly don't see them having much of a chance in Baltimore.
Baltimore 24 Cleveland 13
Detroit at Green Bay: With starting tailback Kevin Jones out of the lineup and the Packers coming off a win over the 49ers, I like Favre to lead the Packers at Lambeau over the 2-11 Lions.
Green Bay 35 Detroit 24
Houston at New England: Coming off a shutout loss to Miami last week, I have to believe that Coach Belichick will have his gang ready to go at home in this one.
New England 28 Houston 13
Jacksonville at Tennessee: Vince Young was able to run against Houston last week. Good luck having similar results against the Jaguars. I like the Jags.
Jacksonville 27 Tennessee 13
Miami at Buffalo: Both teams are coming off big wins. The winner of this game will get back to the .500 mark for the first time in I don't know how long. With the way Miami's D is playing right now, it's hard for me to go against them.
Miami 17 Buffalo 13
NY Jets at Minnesota: Two of the more inconsistent teams in the league this year are the Jets and the Vikings. With the game in Minneapolis and the Vikes coming off a win to get back to 6-7, I like Minnesota to pull this one out at home to get back to 7-7.
Minnesota 21 NY Jets 17
Pittsburgh at Carolina: Pitt is playing better of late and Carolina is doing the direct opposite, as they illustrated against the Giants last Sunday. With their running game being anything but impressive and Willie Parker rolling, I like the Steelers to win a big game on the road here.
Pittsburgh 24 Carolina 17
Tampa Bay at Chicago: Regardless of who plays quarterback for the Bucs, Chicago's D will stop them cold.
Chicago 24 Tampa Bay 6
Washington at New Orleans: It's never a given with the Saints defense, but with how their offense is rolling along, I can't see Washington matching up all too well in 'Nawlins.
New Orleans 27 Washington 17
Denver at Arizona: Arizona is playing better of late and I could see an upset here, but am going with Denver's defense against the youthful Cardinals' offense. Don't be surprised if Arizona wins, though.
Denver 24 Arizona 17
Philadelphia at NY Giants: Philly got lucky last week due to over-conservative playcalling by the Redskins. They won't get so lucky this weekend.
NY Giants 28 Philadelphia 17
St. Louis at Oakland: How do I pick either team? The Rams have been dreadful since a solid start to the season. The Raiders have been awful all year long. Given those two facts, I'll go with the Rams, for the simple fact that they played well at one point in the season.
St. Louis 20 Oakland 13
Kansas City at San Diego: The Chiefs needs this one, but I don't see them getting it, as Marty and the Chargers continue to roll.
San Diego 27 Kansas City 20
Monday
Cincinnati at Indianapolis: With how Indy has played lately, especially on the defensive side of the ball, I'll be hard-pressed to pick them against a solid team the rest of the way through. Cincinnati constitutes as such, so I'm going with the Bengals, who have played very well since their disappointing 4-5 start to the season.
Cincinnati 31 Indianapolis 28
