State of the Union Address Grade

Well, I must say, I'm disappointed that the president didn't use any of the lines from my top ten list. On top of that, the speech was nothing but a reiteration of the same old gibberish: freedom, democracy, Bin Laden, Iraq, Afghanistan, Al-Qaeda, the war on terror, sticking the course, Patriot Act renewal, tax breaks, the No Child Left Behind Act. Blah blah blah. Yadda yadda yadda.

Grade- D, because there's not much new by which to grade him. I feel like I've been watching the same darn speech for the past 4-5 years. It contained a lot of fluff and not much substance.
