Another Study Suggesting Differences...

This time, between homosexual and heterosexual women. Results from a Swedish study was released today and the results claim that homosexual and heterosexual women's brains react differently. My first reaction is, "Duh," but, there are many people in the world who would never believe such a thing. The study states that gay women's brain responses are more similar to that of heterosexual men than they are to heterosexual women. An earlier study suggested similar and stronger findings amongst men. Gay men were found to have more similar brain responses to heterosexual women than to heterosexual men.

There was a poll that could be taken on this page and oddly enough, from 9,841 people who have taken the poll thus far, 89% are not surprised with these findings and only 11% are. When asked if there were biological factors when it comes to homosexuality, 76% said yes, 17% said no, and 7% wasn't sure. With those numbers, I can only wonder how many extreme righties read the study and took the poll. I'm doubting many did, except for those 17% that said no.

While, this is a new hot topic in studies and there aren't too many to look back on, there has been some consistency with the studies I've read. The consistency is that biological factors do contribute to one's homosexuality. What hasn't been concluded is just how much they contribute.
