The Perfect Island

An old friend of mine and I used to talk about how sick we were of Nebraska weather. If you like extremes, come to Nebraska. We get the highs, the lows, the heat, the snow, the storms, the tornadoes. We talked about the perfect place. It'd be an island in the Pacific Ocean, or should I say on the Pacific Ocean? Ahh, pick the preposition. I'm sure you know what I'm talking (writing) about. Temperatures would be in the mid 70s all year long, with just a slight breeze (4 to 8 miles per hour). Well, after I come back from San Diego, I shallst write about if I had just journeyed to this "island," because as the forecast indicates, it's looking just about perfect there. Who knows, perhaps that fantasy island we made up exists in reality and isn't that far away.
