"Snakes On A Plane," Eh?

Even though this film is being hailed by critics, I can't for the life of me find any kind of motivation to go and see the film for myself. From the previews, I couldn't decide if it was action/suspense or action/comedy. It looked like a hybrid of Wesley Snipes' old film "Passenger 57" and "Anaconda." Why in the world would I spend money to see "Snakes On A Plane?" Why not a different animal that may make things a little more interesting. What about "Elephants On A Plane" or "Pigeons On A Plane?" How much weight could the plane hold? Would the elephants then be considered terrorists and we'd have to prove to security at airports that we weren't elephants in disguise? "Pigeons On A Plane," that could be the new modern-day film based off of Alfred Hitchcock's classic, "The Birds." What about "Woodpeckers On A Plane?" Could they peck the glass of the windows? If so, how much? Would the world then be overcome by "Pecker Paranoia?" Sorry, I couldn't resist. But on a serious note (not really), I just won't be able to go and see this film. I saw the previous and almost busted out laughing and call it a hunch (a good one), I doubt the screenwriters, director, and actors had that in mind when making the film.
